Injuries Reported in Fatal Multi-Car Crash near Cedar Avenue
Fresno, CA (April 26, 2022) On Tuesday, 66-year-old Aloma Waith from Stockton died after a multi-car collision on Highway 99.
According to the California Highway Patrol officers (CHP) the fatal crash happened at around 3 a.m. near Cedar Avenue.
Reports say that a vehicle hit a wall, and crossed the lanes of the highway. The vehicle ended up in the center median.
A good samaritan in a grey SUV tried to assist the female driver. Subsequently, another vehicle rear-ended the SUV causing the vehicle to roll over.
Officials say that the chain-reaction crash involved 6 vehicles in total.
Furthermore, rescuers pronounced the woman dead and other drivers sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The CHP is investigating the crash and has not released full details.
