Allen Hunter Fatally Struck in Bicycle Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
Solana Beach, CA – (June 29, 2021) – Last Tuesday, Allen Hunter, 75, died after being struck in a hit and run crash on Pacific Coast Highway in San Diego.
Indeed, the Solana Beach hit-and-run took place on PCH, at Lomas Santa Fe Drive.
Apparently, Mr. Hunter, rode his bicycle down Pacific Coast Highway.
At some point, the San Diego resident was struck by a vehicle.
Meanwhile, the driver that hit the bicyclist immediately fled the scene.
Subsequently, witnesses to the deadly accident called 911.
Upon paramedic arrival, personnel transported Allen to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla Emergency Department.
Shortly after, they treated the victim with advanced cardiac life support measures.
Even so, he succumbed to his injuries later that same evening.
It is currently unknown whether the police have any leads on the hit-and -run driver.
Hunter’s cause of death is classified as multiple blunt force injuries.
