RED BLUFF, CA (May 17, 2022) – Friday afternoon, Allejandro Arrellano and Felton Price III suffered injuries in a deadly crash on State Route 99E.
 
The incident happened at about 2:55 p.m. on State Route 99E at Singer Creek.
 
According to reports, 46-year-old Rebecca Bryant of Cottonwood drove a 2015 Toyota Corolla northbound. Meanwhile, 49-year-old Allejandro Arrellano of Gridley drove a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu south. Also, 49-year-old Felton Price III of Chico drove a 2002 Cadillac Eldorado north.
 
As the Toyota approached the southbound lane, Arrellano took evasive action. Then, his Chevrolet collided head-on with the Cadillac.
 
Afterward, the Cadillac veered off the freeway and stopped at the embankment. Meanwhile, the Chevrolet blocked both traffic lanes.
 
After the crash, Bryant escaped the crash scene but the authorities found her in Shasta County. Thus, they arrested and charged her with vehicular manslaughter. Moreover, the authorities booked Rebecca Bryant into the Tehama County Jail.
 
Arrellano and Price suffered significant injuries. However, a 52-year-old male passenger in Arrellano’s car died at the scene. At this time, the victim’s identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
