KITSAP COUNTY, WA (January 18, 2021) – Sunday morning, an alleged DUI driver was arrested after an accident on State Route 16 near Tremont.
 
According to WSP, the suspect vehicle struck a Washington State Patrol vehicle. The trooper stopped the vehicle to the side of State Route 16 near Tremont to remove the debris from the left westbound lane.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that the trooper was outside of the vehicle when the crash occurred.
 
Also, the involved driver suffered minor injuries. Then, authorities took the driver into custody for suspicion of DUI.
