Employee Hit by Car in Stater Brothers Robbery Incident
APPLE VALLEY, CA (August 4, 2019) – Police arrested Allam Albritton for striking a Stater Brothers employee on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the 12253 block of Apple Valley Road near Bear Valley Road around 9:06 PM. Based on an initial report, Albritton, a 35-year-old resident of Hesperia, stole from the store. He took approximately $100 worth of merchandise from Stater Brothers. He did not pay for the items and exited the store to go to his vehicle.
One of the store’s employees followed the suspect and stood behind the cement curb to get the license plate of the vehicle. However, the suspect drove in reverse and hit the employee in the right leg before leaving the scene.
The paramedics arrived at the scene. After that, they treated the victim for leg pain.
Deputies later arrested Albritton for felony and robbery.
