Alissa Campos and Another, Killed in California Avenue Head-On Crash [Kerman, CA]

Kerman, CA (July 25, 2021) – On Saturday night, 19-year-old Alissa Campos and another 19-year-old, Joseph Rodriguez of Kerman, both died in a head-on crash on California Avenue.

The fatal crash took place just after 8 p.m. east of Howard Avenue.

Officers said Rodriguez, the driver, failed to maintain control of the vehicle. It swerved into the eastbound lane, directly in the path of another vehicle.

The two vehicles crashed head-on.

Unfortunately, Rodriguez and Campos, his passenger, both lost their lives at the scene.

Meanwhile, rescuers took the driver and passenger of the second vehicle to the Community Regional Medical Center.

The authorities are still investigating the incident.
