1 Person Dead in San Luis Obispo Auto Accident on Creston Road near Neal Springs Road

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (March 12, 2024) – Sunday morning, Aliandro Torres Gomez and Carlos Torres Diaz sustained injuries in a crash on Creston Road.

The incident happened at around 12:29 a.m. on eastbound on Creston Road, west of Neal Springs Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed veered off the roadway and rolled over multiple times.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a 43-year-old occupant of the vehicle died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported Torres Gomez, 47, of Paso Robles, and Torres Diaz, 41, also of Paso Robles, to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with major injuries.

Furthermore, authorities said that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
