Ali Modan Dead, 6 Hurt in Los Altos Fatal Accident on 280 Freeway
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA (August 21, 2020) – On Sunday afternoon, 17-year-old Ali Modan died and 6 others were injured in a single-car crash on 280 Freeway.
The incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. on northbound 280 Freeway, south of Magdalena Road. According to reports, firefighter paramedics and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
Upon their arrival, they located a vehicle with seven occupants.
Santa Clara County Fire Department firefighters confirmed that Ali Modan was declared dead at the scene. Also, they reported that they transported six patients to nearby hospitals.
Moreover, two of them sustained major injuries, two sustained moderate injuries, while the last two had minor injuries.
Due to limited information, the crash remains under active investigation. However, initial indications suggest that the incident was a single-car crash.
