Nissan Driver Alexis Delatorre Killed in State Route 125 Collision [Walla Walla County, WA]

Walla Walla County, WA (June 21, 2024) – Alexis Delatorre, 23, of Walla Walla, was killed in a State Route 125 collision Wednesday morning.

It was about 10 a.m. when the fatal collision happened at the intersection with Commercial Drive in College Place.

WSP officers said Teddy Kujawski, 45, of Dixie, was northbound on State Route 125 toward Commercial Drive when his 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup traveled into the southbound lane and struck a 2020 Nissan Versa driven by Alexis Delatorre.

Delatorre was killed at the scene while Kujawski was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center with unspecified injuries

WSP troopers said both drivers were wearing seat belts when the collision happened.

Moreover, the authorities said possible criminal charges are pending and that they are still investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved.
