Alexis Covarrubias Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 105 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (July 15, 2022) – On Thursday, Alexis Covarrubias, 37, sustained fatal injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 105 Freeway.

The fatal collision happened before 3:15 p.m. on the westbound freeway exit at Central Avenue.

According to the investigators, the officers began pursuing a copper Kia SUV sedan that was recklessly driving. They say the SUV was stolen from Compton.

Unfortunately, the Kia collided with a red vehicle driven by Alexis Covarrubias.

The authorities declared Alexis Covarrubias dead at the crash scene.

Moreover, the Kia driver and passenger, 14 and 15 years old, both sustained injuries in the collision. The authorities handcuffed them to gurneys before they transported them to a hospital.

The authorities added that the collision involved several vehicles which also sustained damage in the incident.
