Injuries Reported in Arnold Bicycle Accident on Pine Drive and Highway 4
ARNOLD, CA (January 4, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, Alexander Rejkowski sustained injuries in a startling bicycle crash on Pine Drive.
The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. on Pine Drive, off Highway 4 in the Arnold area.
According to reports, 18-year-old Rejkowski was riding his bike north. Meanwhile, 73-year-old Philip Zweigle of Arnold drove south on Pine Drive in a 2001 Grand Vitara.
CHP spokesperson Eric Parsons revealed, “The front of the bicycle collided with the front passenger side of the Suzuki.”
Then, responders took the victim to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Parson also added, “Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in this collision.”
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
