EL MONTE, CA (June 10, 2020) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Alex Moreno after a DUI crash on Valley Boulevard in El Monte.
 
According to reports, at about 7:00 p.m., the alleged drunk driver Alex Moreno crashed into three vehicles on Valley Boulevard. The crash occurred just before he entered a shopping center parking lot, where he hit another 12 vehicles.
 
Some people threw a rock at the truck’s window, while some people attempted to open the door of the vehicle. However, the driver kept forward and crashed into a metal fence and an electrical box.
 
As a result, two men jumped inside and tried to grab the keys.
 
Meanwhile, a teen living on the other side of the lot heard the crash and witnessed the incident.
 
“Then we see there’s just this whole crowd of people just attacking the truck, and how the truck driver is trying to get out and people are yelling ‘don’t let him out,’” the teen revealed.
 
When the police arrived, they pulled 38-year-old Alex Moreno out of the truck. He couldn’t steadily stand on his feet.
 
Then, responders took three people, including Alex Moreno, to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the police confirmed that the truck was not stolen.
 
Furthermore, the officials arrested Alex Moreno on suspicion of felony hit and run and driving under the influence. His bail is set to $100,000.
