TULARE, CA (February 22, 2023) – Monday afternoon, authorities arrested Alex Garcia after a fatal DUI crash on J Street and Cartmill Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of J Street and Cartmill Avenue.
 
According to the Tulare Police Department, a vehicle ran a red light and collided with another vehicle.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the 37-year-old male driver of the second vehicle dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, authorities arrested the driver of the first vehicle, 31-year-old Alex Garcia. He’s currently on suspicion of DUI, voluntary manslaughter, and other outstanding warrants, including a previous DUI.
