Alejandro Garcia Barragan Dies in Fatal Big Rig Crash in Santa Paula

 
Santa Paula, CA (UPDATED) – On Friday morning, 53-year-old Oxnard man Alejandro Garcia Barragan died in a semi-truck crash on Highway 126 west of Peck Road.
 
Moreover, the Santa Paula semi truck accident happened around 10:22 a.m. on September 25.
 
According to CHP reports, the Oxnard man was driving a silver 2014 Chevrolet Silverado along the right-hand shoulder of the westbound lanes of Hwy 126 when it collided a 1997 Freightliner semi-truck.
 
The cause of the fatal big rig crash is still under investigation.
 
The collision caused Alejandro Garcia Barragan’s Chevrolet to drive off the roadway and into a dirt embankment until it overturned in an agricultural field.
 
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the semi-truck pulled over and waited at the scene for officers. He did not have any injuries.
