Santa Rosa Resident Alejandra Vasquez Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash on Hearn Avenue [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (August 3, 2024) – Alejandra Vasquez, 19, of Santa Rosa, was involved on a hit-and-run crash on Hearn Avenue Friday night.

It was about 9:42 p.m. when the traffic accident happened in southwest Santa Rosa.

A security camera has recorded a vehicle traveling west on Hearn Avenue has struck a 33-year-old pedestrian as he attempted to cross the street.

The vehicle stopped for approximately one and a half minutes but no one got out before it fled.

The rescuers located the pedestrian unconscious with a severe head injury. They took him to an area hospital in critical condition,

Similarly, a surveillance camera at Hearn Avenue and Corby Avenue was able to catch the license plate of a white 2014 Lexus IS250 just before the road accident.

Later on, the authorities located the vehicle at 1900 block of Blue Sky Lane and learned that it has been involved in a collision.

Alejandra Vasquez was accused of felony hit-and-run causing serious injury. Officers don’t believe she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the accident.
