Aldo Cantabrana and Sergeant Injured in Vehicle Crash on Highway 247 [Johnson Valley, CA]

Injuries Reported in Johnson Valley Auto Accident on Highway 247 near Crestview Road

 
JOHNSON VALLEY, CA (April 26, 2021) – On Friday, Aldo Cantabrana and a sergeant sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 247.
 
Moreover, reports revealed that around 6:15 a.m., a sergeant stationed at the sheriff’s Barstow office headed south on Highway 247.
 
Then, he approached Crestview Road at an unknown rate of speed. Also, he rode in an unmarked departmental silver Ford Taurus.
 
Meanwhile, authorities said that Aldo Cantabrana, 35, of Yucca Valley headed north on Highway 247. Furthermore, Cantrabana drove a gray Nissan Altima at a state speed of 55 mph.
 
Shortly after, the sergeant attempted to pass an unknown southbound vehicle traveling in the northbound lane.
 
Subsequenlty, the sergeant merged into the path of Cantabrana’s Nissan and collided head-on with the vehicle.
 
Ultimately, paramedics from Morongo Basin Ambulance transported Cantabrana and the sergeant to Desert Regional Medical Center.
 
Apparently, the both sustained major injuries.
