Male Jogger Dies in Accident on County Road 98
Woodland, CA (March 26, 2022) – On Friday, 38-year-old Alberto Solorzano of Woodland was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident on County Road 98.
The authorities received the accident report at about 4:40 a.m. at the intersection with County Road 25A.
According to the investigators, the victim was running westbound on the north side road shoulder of County Road 25A. He was approaching County Road 98.
At the same time, Solorzano was driving a southbound 2011 Cadillac on County Road 98 approaching County Road 25A.
The jogger continued running into the intersection and went directly in the path of the Cadillac.
As a result, the front of the vehicle struck the victim.
The jogger was thrown to the ground and succumbed to his injuries.
On the other hand, Solorzano did not sustain any injuries from the accident.
Moreover, the officers said drugs or alcohol was not a factor in this fatal crash.
