Albert Lepper Dies in Vehicle Crash on State Route 46 [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (April 28, 2022) – On April 21, Albert Lepper, 64, of Benicia, dies while another sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on State Route 46.

Officers immediately responded to the crash scene, west of Corcoran Road, in Buttonwillow.

When they arrived at the scene, the authorities declared Lepper dead.

According to the investigators, Lepper was traveling in the eastbound lane when he swerved into the westbound lane and crashed with the crane vehicle. 

Reports said the crane driver suffered minor injuries which includes scrapes on his hands and arms.

Moreover, the officers said they are still investigating if drug or alcohol use was involved in the accident. Also, they are investigating any medical issues that have possibly caused Lepper to suddenly swerve onto the wrong lane.
