Man in Wheelchair Dies in Fresno Hit-And-Run on Olive Avenue
FRESNO, CA (October 19, 2020) – On Sunday morning, a hit-and-run accident on Highway 99 and Olive Avenue left Albert Johnson dead.
According to Lt. Charlie Chamalbide, the accident killed the 47-year-old Fresno man in a wheelchair. The crash occurred at an on-ramp to Highway 99 at Olive Avenue at around 2:42 a.m.
The vehicle that struck the man, a dark-colored Mitsubishi vehicle, fled the scene after the collision.
Authorities revealed that there were no further information regarding the fatal accident.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation by Fresno PD.
