HOUSTON, TX (October 6, 2024) – Saturday morning, an alarming wrong-way crash on Smith Street and Tuam Street injured one person.
The incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Smith Street and Tuam Street.
According to reports, a vehicle traveling the wrong way collided with a police officer’s unit and another car. Then, the suspect vehicle continued traveling and collided with a third vehicle.
Moreover, responders transported an officer to a hospital with minor injuries.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the wrong-way driver showed signs of intoxication.
