TUCSON, AZ (January 24, 2024) – Tuesday morning, an alarming wrong-way crash on Interstate 10 near Milepost 256 injured three people.
The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 10, near Milepost 256 and Grant Road.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a westbound vehicle that was traveling in the eastbound lanes collided head-on with a marked on-duty AMR ambulance.
Moreover, responders transported two paramedics and the driver of the wrong-way vehicle to a hospital with critical injuries.
