DPS Trooper Hurt in Phoenix Auto Accident on Interstate 10 near 19th Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (January 30, 2024) – Monday night, an alarming two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near 19th Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened on Interstate 10 near 19th Avenue.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident involved a DPS trooper and a commercial vehicle.

Moreover, responders transported the trooper to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the two right lanes of the interstate, but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Arizona Department of Public Safety continued to investigate the crash.
