1 Person Hurt in Indio Auto Accident on Gore Street and Richard Oliphant Elementary School

INDIO, CA (October 2, 2024) – Monday morning, an alarming two-vehicle crash on Gore Street and Richard Oliphant Elementary School injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. on Gore Street, in front of Richard Oliphant Elementary School.

According to the Indio Police Department, a Jeep T-boned a Hyundai for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the Hyundai to a hospital with minor injuries.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that both parties were cooperating with the investigation.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Indio Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
