Injuries Reported in Tucson Auto Accident near Sasabe Road
TUCSON, AZ (June 13, 2024) – On Friday, an alarming two-vehicle crash near Sasabe Road injured five people.
Reports said that the incident happened east of Sasabe Road.
According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, two Border Patrol vehicles collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed one of the vehicles to crash into the border wall.
Authorities confirmed that a Border Patrol agent and four migrants sustained injuries in the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility continued investigating the crash.
