2 People Hospitalized in Everett Auto Accident on Interstate 5 near Highway 526
EVERETT, WA (June 29, 2023) – Tuesday night, an alarming single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Highway 526 injured two people.
The incident happened at around 7:35 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Highway 526.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a 1988 Ford Taurus traveling at a high rate of speed lost control, veered across all lanes, and hit a barrier before rolling over onto the carpool lane.
Moreover, responders transported the 40-year-old female driver of the vehicle and her 51-year-old male passenger to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
