YUBA CITY, CA (November 20, 2024) – Tuesday morning, an alarming school bus crash on South Walton Avenue and Cherry Street injured seven.

The incident happened at around 7:52 a.m. on South Walton Avenue and Cherry Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a school bus failed to stop for the stopped northbound traffic and collided with a vehicle.

Moreover, responders transported a total of seven children to a hospital as a precaution and for evaluation.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
