4 People Hurt in Harris County Auto Accident near Foy Lane and Wardmont Street

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (July 17, 2023) – Saturday night, an alarming police chase crash near Foy Lane and Wardmont Street injured 4 people.

The incident started at around 11:15 p.m. when authorities noticed a vehicle that had been racing on Sam Houston Parkway and started a pursuit.

According to the Harris County Driving While Intoxicated Enforcement Unit, the pursuit lasted for 12 miles and about 10 minutes. Then, it ended when the suspect vehicle lost control and crashed into a house near Foy Lane and Wardmont Street.

Moreover, responders transported the front passenger of the vehicle with serious injuries, the driver, and another passenger to a hospital for treatment. Then, paramedics transported an elderly woman from the house to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
