FARMERS BRANCH, TX (May 16, 2024) – Friday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on Valley View Lane near Interstate 35 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. at the 2300 block of Valley View Lane, just west of Interstate 35.

According to Lt. Terry Eoff, a dark SUV struck a female pedestrian, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with head injuries and multiple broken bones.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
