SPRINGFIELD, MO (December 23, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, an alarming pedestrian crash on Kansas Expressway and Nichols Street injured one person.
Reports said that the incident happened at around 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Kansas Expressway and Nichols Street.
According to the Springfield Police Department, a pickup truck struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the roadway.
Moreover, responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with serious injuries.
