The incident happened on Jackson Keller Boulevard and Green Meadow Road.

According to reports, a driver who was attempting to beat oncoming traffic at a light struck a mother, her 3-year-old son, and her 5-year-old daughter. Then, the driver backed up and remained at the scene after the collision.

Moreover, responders transported the three victims to a local hospital where the 5-year-old girl was briefly listed in critical condition.
