SAN DIEGO, CA (August 7, 2023) – Thursday morning, an alarming pedestrian crash on Interstate 8 and Taylor Street injured 1 person.
The incident occurred at 8:48 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 8 at Taylor Street onramp.
According to reports, a male driver of the white Nissan lost his front left wheel of the car as they drove eastbound on the eastbound Interstate 8.
Then, he pulled over to the right shoulder. Afterward, the man exited his vehicle to take the wheel which was in the traffic lanes.
Moreover, other drivers swerved around the wheel.
Also, the male driver of the red Honda struck the man. The impact sent the man onto the right shoulder.
As a result, the man sustained major injuries and was taken to UCSD.
