The incident happened at around 11:28 p.m. in the 6800 block of Balboa Avenue.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a 2005 Dodge Neon struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the street.

Moreover, responders rushed the 68-year-old victim to a hospital with multiple fractures and cuts to his face.
