SAN MATEO, CA (October 31, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, an alarming pedestrian crash on 28th Avenue near Sunset Terrace injured one person.
Reports said that the incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. on 28th Avenue near Sunset Terrace.
According to the San Mateo Police Department, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian while walking her dog.
Moreover, responders rushed the woman to a local trauma center with severe injuries. Also, a patrol car transported the dog to a veterinarian with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed 28th Avenue between 31st Avenue and Monterey Street but has long since reopened.
