FORT WORTH, TX (September 3, 2024) – Sunday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on 1700 Handley Drive injured one person.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Handley Drive.

According to reports, a pickup truck ran over a male pedestrian who was lying in the parking lot for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and detain the truck driver who fled the scene after the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Fort Worth Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit continued to investigate the crash.
