Injuries Reported in Cajon Pass Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 15 and Highway 138

CAJON PASS, CA (November 22, 2023) – Monday night, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 and Highway 138 injured 1 person.

The incident happened at around 6:41 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15 about two miles after the Highway 138 exit.

California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department both responded to the crash involving a pickup truck that rolled over.

Reports confirmed that the crash involved a tan Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that overturned landed on its wheels, and the other vehicles. Authorities added that seven vehicles sustained minor to major damages.

Meanwhile, responders transported one person via ground ambulance to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Also, the crash stalled traffic for over 30 minutes while the crews removed the pickup truck out of the lanes.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
