2 People Hospitalized in Trenton Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 6
TRENTON, MO (December 5, 2024) – Wednesday morning, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Highway 6 injured two people.
The incident happened on Highway 6 approximately one mile west of Trenton, Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound Ford Ranger lost control on the icy bridge and veered into the eastbound lanes. Then, the Ford collided with an eastbound Volvo tractor-trailer that jackknifed during the crash.
Also, a westbound Dodge Grand Caravan rear-ended the Ford Ranger while a Ford EcoSport collided with the Volvo tractor-trailer after it came into rest.
Moreover, responders transported the 25-year-old male driver of the Ford EcoSport, and the 52-year-old passenger in the Dodge Grand Caravan, to Wright Memorial Hospital, both with minor injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the MSHP continued to investigate the crash.
