Injuries Reported in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on 4500 Home Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 6, 2023) – Saturday night, an alarming motorcycle crash on 4500 Home Avenue injured 1 person.
The incident happened at 11:22 p.m. in the 4500 block of Home Avenue. When the San Diego police arrived at the scene, they determined that a motorcyclist rode east while a 46-year-old woman drove the 2011 Hyundai Tucson. However, the Hyundai made a U-turn in front of the victim.
As a result, the motorcyclist crashed into the Hyundai on the driver’s side front fender, said Officer Robert Heims.
Thus, responders transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with multiple fractures and a laceration to his ankle.
Moreover, the authorities do not believe that driving under the influence didn’t play a role in the crash.
Furthermore, the department’s Traffic Division handles the crash infestation. Also, they urged anyone with information about the crash to contact 858-495-7800 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
