1 Person Hurt in Austin Motorcycle Accident on West Parmer Lane near North Lamar Boulevard

AUSTIN, TX (June 19, 2024) – Saturday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on West Parmer Lane near North Lamar Boulevard injured one person.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on West Parmer Lane near North Lamar Boulevard.

According to the Austin Police Department, a black or dark-colored four-door sedan that was a getaway vehicle involved in a theft at a 7/11 at 1100 West Parmer Lane, struck a motorcyclist and then fled the scene.

Moreover, responders transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
