Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard

SAN DIEGO, CA (June 22, 2023) – Late Sunday night, 2 people were hurt in an alarming hit-and-run crash on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.

The authorities received a report of the crash at about 11:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.

According to a witness, the black SUV traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it approached the intersection and crashed into a wall and some trees.

“As soon as it turned, it hit the rails and went flying into the air. It literally looked like the flying nun, and it went sideways,” the witness said.

After the crash, the driver fled the crash scene.

Meanwhile, the witness helped the occupants of the SUV. Moreover, both passengers sustained some cuts and bruises.

Also, one of the passengers revealed that they were being driven home from a club.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
