6 Children Hurt in Dallas Auto Accident on Rugged Drive and Ledbetter Road
DALLAS, TX (September 30, 2024) – Saturday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Rugged Drive and Ledbetter Road injured six people.
Reports said that the incident happened on Rugged Drive and Ledbetter Road.
According to the Dallas Police, a 2018 Chevy Malibu that was traveling at a high rate of speed, struck a 2016 GMC Acadia. Then, the force of the crash ejected a 4-year-old male passenger of the Acadia, into the roadway.
Paramedics transported the 4-year-old boy with critical injuries and a 5-year-old boy with serious injuries, to a hospital for treatment. Also, responders transported a 4-month-old, 3-year-old, 6-year-old, and 17-year-old, to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the Dallas Police continued to investigate the crash.
