SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (August 19, 2023) – On Friday, authorities arrested a driver following an alarming hit-and-run crash on Los Osos Valley Road near Irish Hills.

The incident happened on Los Osos Valley Road near Irish Hills.

According to the San Luis Obispo Police, a vehicle rear-ended a pick-up truck for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the collision.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the hit-and-run driver eventually surrendered to the police without incident. Then, authorities transported the suspect to the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
