Injuries Reported in Dallas County Auto Accident on Interstate 20 and Highway 67
DALLAS COUNTY, TX (September 22, 2024) – Last Sept 14, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Interstate 20 and Highway 67 injured 1 person.
Reports said that the incident happened at about 2:53 a.m. on westbound Interstate 20 and Highway 67.
Deputies revealed that the victim was standing outside his vehicle when it was sideswiped by a black Dodge Ram pickup. The driver of the truck struck the victim and fled the scene without stopping. The victim was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
The suspect is described as a Black male, likely in his 20s or 30s, with a thin build and about six feet tall. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a white tank top, blue shorts, and a dark-colored ball cap.
Detectives from the Vehicle Crimes Unit are looking for the 2015 black Dodge Ram, which has damage to the passenger side, and the door may be missing due to the collision.
