1 Person Hurt in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on Historical Highway 90 and San Joaquin Street
SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 2, 2024) – Friday, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Historical Highway 90 and San Joaquin Street injured 1 person.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on Historical Highway 90 and San Joaquin Street.
A man, estimated to be in his late 30s or early 40s, was struck by a truck while attempting to cross the street on his bicycle, outside of the designated crosswalk. The driver did not stop to assist, according to the SAPD.
Police investigated the hit-and-run incident, which left the man critically injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where his condition has since stabilized.
The incident remains under investigation, and authorities have stated that the driver, once identified, will face charges for a collision resulting in serious bodily injury.
