The incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. on Everett Freeman Way near Interstate 5.

According to reports, a vehicle struck a motorcycle, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Paramedics airlifted the two occupants of the motorcycle, a man and a woman, to a hospital with serious injuries.
