1 Person Injured in Brownsville Motorcycle Accident on Elizabeth Street and Villa Maria Boulevard

BROWNSVILLE, TX (February 7, 2024) – On Tuesday, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Elizabeth Street and Villa Maria Boulevard injured one person.

The incident happened at the intersection of West Elizabeth Street and Villa Maria Boulevard.

According to Brownsville Police Department’s public information officer Abril Luna, the incident involved a car and a motorcycle.

Moreover, responders rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the car driver fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Meanwhile, the crash blocked the scene and authorities asked everyone to avoid the area and to find alternate routes.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Brownsville Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
