STOCK, TX (September 14, 2023) – Tuesday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash on East Kiest Boulevard near East Illinois Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:05 a.m. at the 2100 block of East Kiest Boulevard, near East Illinois Avenue and the Paul Laurence Dunbar Lancaster-Kiest Branch Library.

According to Dallas Police, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
