1 Person Hurt in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Alabama Street and Kettering Drive

HOUSTON, TX (April 16, 2024) – Friday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on Alabama Street and Kettering Drive injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. in the 4600 block of W Alabama Street and Kettering Drive.

According to the Houston Police Department, a black Mercedes SUV struck a 9-year-old girl who exited a vehicle with her friend. Then, the Mercedes fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities confirmed that a $10,000 reward is being offered by the family and friends of the victim for any information about the hit-and-run driver.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Houston Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
