2 People Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on 5000 College Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 3, 2024) – Saturday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash on 5000 College Avenue injured two people.
The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. at the 5000 block of College Avenue.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a southbound black or silver BMW struck two female pedestrians who ran in front of the vehicle. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders transported the 20-year-old woman with a fractured left arm and a lacerated lung, and the 19-year-old with a lacerated liver, to a hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, authorities believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
