1 Person Hurt in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident on 35th Avenue near Thomas Road

PHOENIX, AZ (November 15, 2023) – Monday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash on 35th Avenue near Thomas Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. on 35th Avenue, just north of Thomas Road.

According to reports, a southbound truck struck a male pedestrian who was crossing mid-block outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with critical injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
