Injuries Reported in Hesperia Pedestrian Accident on 12700 Main Street
HESPERIA, CA (November 26, 2024) – Monday night, a woman suffered injuries in an alarming hit-and-run crash on 12700 Main Street.
The crash happened at about 6:09 p.m. in the 12700 block of Main Street.
San Bernardino County Fire responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision and learned en route that the pedestrian had also been assaulted during a robbery.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the victim, a 17-year-old girl, lying on the ground, aided by Good Samaritans. She was transported by ambulance to a landing zone and airlifted by a Reach medical helicopter to a trauma center for further treatment.
Witness reports suggest the victim had gone to the Target parking lot to sell a cell phone when a female suspect stole the phone, assaulted her, and fled. The victim reportedly chased the suspect and was struck by a vehicle that sped away with the suspect.
No details about the suspect or vehicle have been released at this time.
